I see the outright ban of fossil fuel plastic as imperative. We have alternatives to every use. Industrial hemp, seed and vegetable oil’s, and a myriad of other far closer to sustainable inputs and practices.
Micro plastic is probably the second most life endangering topic on earth after GHG. Endocrine disruptors are not like heavy metals or other constituents that there is a safe level of consumption. One part per million is unsafe. To have that ratio grow continually is obviously unsustainable. I take some solace in the fact that, if it’s unsustainable, it will end😉
