Melanie, both books are really tops, well written and researched. Mann knows much about the deflectors, delayers, and other "inactivists" from first hand experience dealing with these industry lackeys. Though it is infuriating to read about people who will sacrifice their soul, as well as the planet, for some money, Mann gives great reasons for hope. I highly recommend the book.
Thanks. I'm very behind on book reading but will keep an eye out. I've got a pile to take to the fancy secondhand bookshop, I'll get store credit for them so will see if I can find either of these.
An interesting read. I haven't read this book or Merchants of Doubt - I suspect it would be too depressing. But this does sound a little hopeful.
